If so, please let us know at least 48 working hours<\/strong> (excluding weekends and holidays) in advance. This can be done by email or voicemail. If you do not do this on time, we will sometimes show (partial) leniency the first time depending on the circumstances but in case of no message at all (no show) or a second or subsequent time, we unfortunately always have to charge. In case of pain, trauma and aesthetic discomfort during opening hours, please contact the practice on 023-2052173<\/a>. We often try to see you the same day and otherwise almost always the next day. We do not always manage to actually perform a treatment. In acute situations, we then try to forward you so that you can still be treated as soon as possible. Some treatments that allow it, we schedule as soon as possible so that we can then pay more attention to the treatment. All rates for dental care are set nationwide. They are linked to the performance delivered during treatment. These rates are set by the Netherlands Healthcare Authority (NZa), commissioned by the government. This means that every dentist in the Netherlands charges the same rates for the treatment carried out. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Rates for dental workpieces are not fixed. We work with laboratories that offer them very competitively. We like to give attention to your mouth instead of putting time and effort into financial administration. Therefore, like many dental practices, we cooperate with a factoring company. Sending and collecting bills is handled by Netpoint Factoring BV. They have specialised in invoicing for multiple healthcare providers within oral care for more than 15 years. <\/p>\n

They do their utmost to ensure correct, transparent and straightforward processing of your declarations, paying close attention to the security of your personal data. To ensure this, Netpoint Factoring is certified and complies with all standards and requirements within Dutch (Wbp) and European (AVG) privacy legislation. <\/p>\n

They will submit your claim to your health insurer first. If you have dental insurance, the insured part will be reimbursed automatically. You will receive a (remaining) claim for the remainder. If the bill is fully reimbursed by your health insurer, you will not receive a bill from us. The dental bill consists of the various services provided during treatment. Each performance is described on the bill with a code that is linked to a fixed rate determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). <\/p>\n

Netpoint will send the invoice to you by email. If your e-mail address is unknown, they will send you the invoice by post. They will receive the necessary data from us. As you are responsible for the accuracy of your data, we recommend that you inform us of any changes. <\/p>\n

After the first invoice, a second invoice will be sent by post. This reminder is still free of charge. If no payment follows, a second reminder will be sent by post. Unfortunately, this does incur a charge of 15 euros. <\/p>\n

Some of the care provided by dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons is covered by basic insurance. Unfortunately, dental costs for adults are not covered by the basic insurance. For this, you can take out a separate dental insurance. Do think carefully about whether you will actually \u201cuse it\u201d. Especially if you hardly need any treatment, it is doubtful whether dental insurance will be advantageous. <\/p>\n

Pay attention to the small print. Most insurances do not reimburse 100 per cent of the treatment but a percentage (usually between 70-80 per cent, check the general condition of your insurance) and some treatments are not reimbursed at all. <\/p>\n

Dental costs for children up to 18 years of age are fully reimbursed, except for crowns, bridges, braces and implants. Dental costs for children are also not covered by the deductible. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Some of the care provided by dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons is covered by basic insurance. Dental accidents are covered as standard by some insurers. To be sure, always check with your health insurer what is and is not covered under which insurance policy. <\/p>\n

We like to give you a smile. Despite our attention and commitment, it may happen that you are not satisfied with the treatment or service in our practice. You can then lodge a complaint (possibly in writing) with us. In most cases, a conversation between you and your dentist or practice manager will be enough. If you need a third, neutral party, you can submit your complaint to KNMT (www.knmt.nl<\/a>).
An independent complaints officer will then mediate between you and your dentist free of charge. With the aim of finding a solution. The complaints procedure of this dental professional organisation meets the requirements set by the Complaint Rights of Health Care Sector Clients Act for every care provider. <\/p>\n

Dispute?<\/h6>\n

If you cannot come to a conclusion despite the help of the complaints officer, you can appeal to the Disputes Authority Oral Care. Then your complaint will be assessed by a committee of five experts. The arbitration body gives a binding opinion on whether your complaint is valid and, if the complaint is valid, may award compensation up to a maximum of twenty-five thousand euros. <\/p>\n
